How to Manually Add Users to Your LMS

Only users with the 'Site admin' role are able to add users and assign roles if needed.

Add User Manually

Step 1: Navigate to “Site Admin.” 

Step 2: Select “User Management.”

Step 3: Click on “Create Single User.”

Step 4: Fill in the user information. The required fields are:

Username: Best practice is to use the email address as this must be unique.

Password: Either let the system "Generate password and notify user" or decide on a "New password."

First Name: User first name.

Last Name: User last name.

Email Address: User email address.

Step 5: Select the User Segment the user falls into.

Step 6: Assign the User Role.

Step 7: Enrol the user into courses (optional).

Share Details

A. If you selected for the system to automatically "Generate password and notify user", an email containing their account details will be sent to the user. 

B. If you manually created a "New password", be sure to share these details with the user.

As a training manager, you are responsible for onboarding new employees to your organisation, in part, you are responsible for adding users to the system and providing them with access to essential training materials.
